In the 1990s, while on a client tour with my father, we visited the magnificent cellar of a grand château. We stood before the vast rows of barrels.

My father said:

"What do you see here?" Without hesitation, I replied, " Barrels ! "
He then corrected me with a lesson that shaped my perspective:

"No, what you see is a forest."
This realization became my core belief, and I wanted it to be the cornerstone of our work at AMEDEE. That’s why today, we focus on activities that maximize the efficiency in preserving this precious resource.

Our History

Every decision we make—from investments to packaging design—is centered around ecological responsibility. We meticulously evaluate each aspect of our operations to ensure it aligns with our sustainability goals.

This vital commitment arises from the realization that the resource we use—the oak—is dying. We witness daily the impacts of climate change on forests; oaks are succumbing to heat and drought. Today, we source our oak from forests located 200 kilometers further north than we did 40 years ago. This precious resource must be used wisely, and nothing should be wasted.

Our conviction is reinforced by the figures presented below.
